Role Overview

As a School Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a healthy school environment by:

• Providing direct care to students and staff

• Administering medications and first aid

• Managing student health records and immunization documentation

• Supporting individualized healthcare plans

• Promoting health education and wellness across the school community

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license in good standing

• Current CPR/First Aid certification

• Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and students
