These 9”x12” impressionist paintings are a combination of symmetric printing and painting where the sky and shoreline are literally reflected over a horizon line onto the water area. The boats are then painted on, their sails picking up the colors in the sky and water. Originally this was a children’s lesson, but has been adapted for adults. The resulting mood is based on the artist’s choice of colors. Every version is different and expressive!
